Sentenced: A Call-to-Action Documentary

SENTENCED, co-produced and narrated by NBA superstar, Stephen Curry, continues its unimaginable rocket ride. Over the last year, this call-to-action documentary launched at the Library of Congress and soared into homes through Peacock, with a thousand points-of-impact in between.

Today, we have removed SENTENCED from Peacock and offer it to you to host screenings in your community, at your church, and as a launchpad to change the future of the forgotten children of your area, catalyzing:  1) volunteer recruitment 2) building awareness and 3) as a fundraising vehicle.

SENTENCED is an immersive and vulnerable exploration of the epidemic of childhood illiteracy through a series of braided character driven stories. Filmed from the point of view of ethnically diverse adults and children who have never learned to read, SENTENCED is a forceful yet tender tale of how literacy can free children from the cycles of generational poverty.
The creators of SENTENCED are honored to partner with Stephen (4x NBA champion) and Ayesha Curry (Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation) to bring you this immersive and vulnerable exploration of the epidemic of childhood illiteracy. We hope this powerful and heartbreaking story will inspire 1,000,000 volunteers into the cause of early childhood literacy.
