About Children's Literacy Project

10 Years of Mobilizing Communities
For over a decade, Children’s Literacy Project has been mobilizing individuals, organizations and churches into the public schools. The result is that thousands of communities and hundreds of thousands of volunteers have been activated into neighborhood schools.
We build local movements alongside organizations and communities of faith.
We recruit volunteers.
We educate and advocate for literacy awareness.
We distribute books to forgotten communities.

Why we Exist

“For the illiterate person, they are almost certainly assured a life in poverty, a life of feeling unwelcome in their own society. It does not have to be this way.”
